Hey! Decided to take the plunge and do my first motor swap on my 85cj7… I’m using the stock T-4 that came with it and the engine is a 4.0 out of a 1994 grand Cherokee. I’m not getting any spark at the moment but could be a ground using the factory harness from the 94 but I’m definitely not that advanced to understand what I’m needing to keep or what are grounds but my main thing is the crackshaft pos is Mounted on the bell housing of the Transmission but the T-4 doesn’t have one so I’m a little lost on what to do there. THANKS

Are saying that the crank trigger is intact on the 4.0 but you just need to relocate the pickup?
