I've got a '79 CJ7 with just lap belts in front, would like to swap for 3-point belts. I've got a full rollbar cage under a hardtop. Anybody else converted to a 3-point belt system? If so, where and how did you mount the upper point of the belts?

Gillmore,

Thanks alot, perfect to do the job. Jonboy1919

Nice. Kind of spendy. Looks like it time tofire up the lathe.

Thanks :D

A 9x20 Engine lathe.

Great for making bushings, body lifts, swaybar links and spacers.

I used the RSJ 2 inch Y shoulder harness and lap belts in my 79 CJ7 . They wrap the strap around the roll bar then a buckle is used to fasten the strap. I have had mine for years and have them in my Polaris Ranger 6x6 also. I did weld a retaining strap to the back side of the roll bar to keep them from sliding side to side. You can kind of see them in this pic of the Ranger.
