Build Thread My 85 CJ7

nice job on your restore. I too have an 85 that I picked up about a month ago. found a few spots in the floor that need attention. Pulled out the rollbar, wow, did the cutout today. Hope when I get it back together it will look halfway as decent as your work.

Well Im vertically challenged at 5 ft 5 so Im probably ok. :D Guess I'll have to press you on whats your plan for the rest? :chug:
 
You guys don't laugh but I think I'm done spending money,;) all we have left to do is paint the roll bar/rear bumper and start putting her back together(seats/stereo/windshield)
 
Nice, being just at the starting stage. Have the cage off, windshield hood and fenders.

I have never seen such a mass of wires to operate a six cy engine. Started unbuttoning them and I just wonder how much money they wasted on R&D doing a mess like that.

Will be nice to put that chev in and get rid of 90% of all that copper spagetti.
