My Grandma's old CJ2A.... Cool!!

I went to a family reunion/80 birthday party for my grandma and we started talking Jeeps. She told me about how she learn to drive a stick and got her license in her dads Jeep. Well two hours later a photo book was floating around and the pictures of her dads Jeep with her in it was in the book. My cousin showed me and I flipped out so I had to take some digital shots of the old pics. Here they are. Now my obsession makes sense since my great grandfather loved that old rig. Of course it was brand new to him.


In this pic she is in the passenger seat and her sister is learning to drive.





My great grandpa is in the front of the Jeep.

For some reason as I looked at those photos I could hear "I'm Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood playing every so lightly in the back ground. Great pics man! I have a similar old black and white photo of my wife's gramps sitting on an old Harley from waaay back. . . The quality isn't too good, I had to use my cell phone to get the pic and that's been a few years ago when cell phone cameras weren't as good.



This is right after he returned from the War. I love the helmet and goggles!

To top it off me and the cousins realized that my grandma and great aunt were complete hotties back then. Who would have thunk it.
