I have a CJ5 with an Optima Yellowtop, that I take out 2-3 times a week, for a 20-30 minute drive each way. Is that enough to keep the battery properly charged, or should I leave her on a trickle charger? Thanks!

That is an excellent deep discharge type battery. A 20 - 30 min. drive should be more than enough to add back the small amperage draw used to start the CJ as long as your not cranking for an extended period of time.

Thanks bud! I figured with the battery and high output alternator, it should be ok, but always good to get some feedback. 👍

If it’s a good battery, no problem.
