I agree. People are being a little crazy with their prices right now but since I just paid off my powerstroke I have the money so im sure I can find something that fits my needs that is not outrageous. Maybe... haha. Plus I have been dying to pull something home in my new stroke...

Part 1 of stuff to get done

Post Pics on Jeep-Cj.com :D
Well I picked it up.. now have some stuff to get done im sure ill be full of questions

Hard to tell with the mirror pics but looks to be an upgrade from the bucket O rust you had your eye on! Glad you waited? Get some more pics posted.:chug:

That looks to be a big improvement over that rust bucket you were looking at. If you don't mind sharing, or maybe I missed it, how much did you pay?

Paid 3900. I think I got a fair deal... It is solid. Frame is perfect. Outer body is 100% rust free. Floor pans have some surface under the carpet but are solid as they can be. Guy did a lot of restoration stuff before I got it so my to do list is much shorter than it would have been.

All that said its not perfect. It does need some stuff. I can get pics up this week. And my questions are starting to pile up im trying to research and find out as much as possible before I start driving everyone crazy on here... ANyway im ready to start the work but thats where im at now...

Most here are already there or just a short drive away so don't worrry bout that.

The dash is bubbling rust. I would have to say the body is a tear down. Today you just want a Jeep to play in the woods with but next year you will be thinking about how proud you are of a jeep every body is afraid of getting tetanus from and then the fun begins. Your going to end up feeding this addiction, try to find a monkey that won't eat you out of house and home.

Looking at roll bar covers and seat covers now. Im thinking tan. what do yall think? I think it needs some kind of contrast..... any good places to buy either one?

Congrats on the new rig. Much better than the first!!!

The tan is a good choice unless you where wanting a stealth CJ.

For pricing comparisons try, Quadratec.com & 4wd.com. Request a catalog from each. I just love getting those things a couple of times a year.

Sounds great. I would get new wheels and tires first. Honestly I would cruise and wheel the mess out of it for a weekend and then do that.

Haha no chance.. this thing will never ever see off road. Im thinking since im doing the bars and the seats since I have to replace the dash pad anyway that a tan one would look great? dont yall think?

Your Jeep wants to go off road. :D

It was born and bread to go off road. It will get mad at you if you never take it wheeling.;)
