Need help identify ,trans

I have a broken alluminum top housing on my manual Transmission ,1974 CJ5 ,AMC 304 View attachment 20062
I can't identify the trans

That's either a T-15 or a T-150 .....but the T15 was behind 6 cylinders until '76 when the T150 went behind the V8

Is this a transplanted drivetrain by chance?

Could even be a T-14 , I picked one of those up out of a 75 CJ a few years ago.

The T-15 was used mostly behind the V8's 72-75. The T-14 was used behind the 6 in the same years. The T-150 was used behind both the V8 and 6 76-79. All three had cast iron tops.

Thanks. I thought my info might have been skewed. it didn't make sense that I had no information on pre-'76 V8s

Given that, it's probably a T-15 ...however....the aluminum has me stumpled
