That's very nice.

What year grill? do you have there. Looks like maybe 1968 with shroud/mounting for larger radiator.Does it have a spot for hood latch on front center.Park lamp holes look to small for 1969 -on. Part number. Did you put it on the jeep with the chrome grill or just collecting jeep parts??

 mike

Yeah that doez look 'deep'.
What's with the air scoop?

Fresh Air intake for early CJ5 to heater box. think V-6 years.Goes to that 4" flex tube thats always missing. BTW i git the deal that he collects grilles now(duh!) :):) mike

:)

Late 50's maybe even 60-61.......air scoop for air intake to the early placebo type useless heater which was present prior to the V-6 era 1965 and earlier on all the 4 cylinder models.........hood latches would be on fender and hood using the pull over spring type latch.

Nice find!

:D:D:D:D

they used the air scoop up to 1971 with both engines.1969and on had hood safety latch on grill and hood latches on fenders. The grill he has is pre1968 4 CYL. The heater function is a matter of opinion.Mine works just fine. proper maintanace is the key with any vintage vehicle. I have plenty of pictures if your not tired of looking yet. :D mike

I was told the same as above. I didnt use the grill on mine 7. The grill has never been mounted. I have a collection of grills that I continue to add to. Here is a list of models this grill is used on
