New fuel tank... any prep?

Just once, I had a bunch of stuff on the passenger side floor and it fell all over me. Fortunately I was with other Jeepers and was able to push it back over. The carbureted engine fired right up also. Once I removed the check and rollover valves for better venting. then had fuel dripping from the charcoal canister during a trail with lots of ups and downs.

It's a scary feeling. I went over the edge backwards in a rental car on a driveway. 15-20 ft gravel embankment. 2 wheels on the road barely and 2 over the edge, parallel. If I had opened the drivers door the vehicle would have rolled over 2-3 times. I thought if I took a breath of air it was going to roll over. Took 2 tow trucks to get it back and one broke the cable in the end

got to spend about an hour in the shop yesterday and got the tank installed and the fuel lines attached. I was just getting the filler hoses attached when i stopped.. hopefully, i will get the last couple of odds and ends done this week/weekend to get this thing ready to fire.
