Just saying hello. I recently picked up a 1980 CJ7 for the purpose of teaching my kids how to drive stick. Its my 3rd jeep, ran when parked, not registered in 10 years etc. After a few trips to oreilly and napa, some fresh gas, fuel lines and pump it lives again. Looking forward to the project.

Like your site name, it describes the background in the picture..!
Every kid needs to learn to drive a Stick !! And my boys learned on a old well worn out 1978 Ford 250.
The best thing was it had that real low first gear, so you really could not kill it learning clutch skills.
I have taught my Nieces to drive stick too.
Got them these shirts upon Graduation......LOL

My son also learned to drive stick in a Jeep CJ. He was a good high school student, so I rewarded him by letting him drive my jeep his Senior year of High School.
