Members CJs New Member 82' CJ-8

Hey all. New member here. Ive had a history with CJs and YJs in the past. Lost my last YJ and some mobility in my knee to a head on collision in 2021, finally got a jeep again in 2023 right before my youngest daughter was born. A few projects and two years later Ive finally pulled the 82' Scrambler out and am starting the project. Ill start a build thread this weekend when I start dropping the old tank. Its a little rough but Ive worked with worse.

Hopefully you can’t poke holes through the frame like you can in that windshield frame!

Nah the frame is in much better shape than the windshield frame. Even the tub and rockers arent too bad. That windshield frame was roached when I got it. I dont know what the last few guys did but that took the most damage thankfully. Thats an easy fix.

Yea. At a quick glance its not horrible but needs love for sure. Im dreading the wiring the most honestly. I have a caveman brain, can do anything mechanical and alot of body work but anything intricate gets the anxiety up. Even looking at wiring schematics gets me a little bugged out.
