New PS gearbox won't work?

I know "I'm a tard" but I just put a lot of effort into replacing my PS gearbox with a NAPA reman, but the darn thing isn't working. I thought I read somewhere about bleeding the gearbox, but I thought with 1500 psi, it would be pretty much self bleeding. The unit does turn, but no power assist at all. Yes, I filled up the reservoir, and it was working prior to the replacement of the gearbox. Is there anything I can do without having to take it off again? Thanks a bunch.

Keep working with it...I put a PSC box on mine last summer and it did the same thing. After taking it off twice, I finally got it to bleed out correctly on the truck and now it works just fine...

Bleed the system with the wheels off the ground and go stop to stop, check the fluid level as you go.
