New Rear Wiring - Thru Tub or Attach to Frame

- 1979 CJ7. 304V8, AMC20 Rear, Dana30 Front, T150, Dana20 xfer. 2.5" ProComp Lift. Fiberglass everything.
I'm finally starting the process of assembly for my 79 CJ7 . Everything is basically new. Have a fiberglass tub and the higher cost Painless wiring kit (built-in ground, etc).
We are trying to decide if we want to run the rear wires thru the inside of the tub (like factory) which would require adding the hole above the rear wheel well. Or, just attaching the harness along the frame and then add the hole to the tub floor beside the parking brake.
Anyone has done this either way please let me know. And maybe Pros / Cons for either way.
