Members CJs New to Forum, new CJ5 in HTX
Hi all,
I just recently acquired this 1981 CJ5 by trading a dirtbike. I previously had a 2008 JK 2dr that I drove for 17 years (upgraded to a 2dr bronco last year) and I have a 2023 Jeep Gladiator. I grew up driving a 1949 willys and a 1980 CJ5 so this is a very nostalgic fun vehicle for me. It runs great (iron duke) and will be a lot of fun to teach my boys (10 and 12) how to tinker on vehicles (and drive a standard). Looking forward to learning from everyone here.
