No Heat....hmmmmm.
Search, search, search...In an unrelated thread I found this fantastic photo of the Airbox, Elwood Blues posted it. Now I'm certain the problem is a wide open vent. I hope he doesn't mind I post it here.

Yours is just enough different from mine that I can't directly help you. It does sound like you are not getting air through your heater core, but you might have another peoblem like a disconnected duct of some sort running from your outside air source, the vent in front of the windshield, and the heater box. THis would pump outside cold air directly to you. I'd take the heater duct completely apart, it's not really very difficult and reassemble making sure everything aligns and inserts properly. It really is a fairly simple system where little can go wrong.

There are some very decent pictures of your heater here:

Thanks. That's the photo I tried to post, hahaha. I agree, something is not right. I've had the Airbox that houses the Heater Core out in order to replace it. I know those doors are operational so I'm thinking my problem is with a stuck Vent Door.

My solution right now, is going to be to grab some heavy guage plastic and some rubber cement. I'm going to do away with the Venting System and have the Heater Box operate as one unit.

I'm not sure if I can make this work. But it's in the single digits here, and I'm driving this thing to and from work, 2nd shift, and it's starting to suck at Midnight when I'm freezing my *** off. I might as well be riding my Motorcycle! lol I don't have the time, or energy to pull the entire dashboard out in freezing weather to close off a Vent that I will never use.

Thanks for the info! As soon as I get it figured out, I will post up. And if I go through with the plastic and cement, I'll take some pics and post them here.

Thanks! :chug:
