No heat part 2, I have the core out, need advice fast!

He replaced the core and the T-stat according to his post. That means that either the new t-stat is backwards or the water pump is bad.

Having out it in backwards wouldn't surprise me, lol. When I took the old one out a week ago, I didn'tpay attention to how it was in there. Easy enough to flip it around so II'll try that.

My only suggestion would be to move to Texas where you won't need the heater.

Funny you mention that. I nearly have my wife convinced to move to San Antonio, hahaha. Gotta wait a few years, but a warmer climate is definitely in my future

SAT is a very cool place, one of my favorite places on this planet.very few things more fun than dinner on the river walk and the hill country is about the best wheeling you will find in Texas. IMHO

I seem to remember that the t stat will only fit the goose neck in one direction.

Yeah I seem to recall this as well.. Its pretty obvious which way is which i know that.
