Observations while driving

Jeeper
Hello all. In the last 3 days I've managed to put about 60 miles on the Jeep, and have made some observations about how it drives that I hope have an easy explanation.
- The Transmission (T-176 ) is noisy as hell, mostly in 3rd and 4th. Sounds like a bearing with all the rattling going on down there. I don't have a boot yet so it's even more pronounced. I see a rebuild in the near future.
- Jeep pulls to either side upon deceleration. It's enough to make you think twice about letting up on the gas at 40 mph suddenly. There is a locker installed in the rear. Would that cause it? New bushings have been installed everywhere.
- the Jeep has been dubbed 'the backbreaker' due to its washboard suspension. I think it's got the rough country 4" lift on it. I know not to expect a smooth ride, but is this par for the course? I've never ridden in a CJ5 prior to this.
More to come as I remember it...
