Odometer
Neuner
Old Time Jeeper
PO submerged the CJ and everything has been filled with dirt from the mud. The speedo worked fine but it was hard to read with all of the dirt on the interior of the glass and face and the bulbs were coated as well. It was difficult to read and barely glowed at night. Finally got around to re-doing the dash. Took the speedo out and apart and cleaned everything but didn't touch the odometer gears. Think I might have added some light oil like for a clock assembly. Reassembled and everything worked fine. Now after about 20 miles, the ten position on the odometer won't flip over. It's stuck between 0 and 1. The speed, 0-9 single and 0-9 block position work fine. How in the hell does that happen?
Hope to have time to take it out this weekend but I don't really want to touch it if I'm not sure what is wrong. Think it's just a little stuck? Tried tapping/punching it but nothing happened.
