I am about a week into tearing my 7 apart. I got it for 1500 which I thought wasn't bad. Not original, it was a v8 auto now its a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l 4 speed.It needs some work though The frame is very nice. the body is pretty good only some minor rust. My goal is back to v8 power but for now a good running jeep with a nice riding suspension and comfy interior will do for now. Will post pics of the great pumpkin later.

Thanks for the welcome. I have some pics on my phone just haven't loaded them yet. How was your 302 swap? you must have been reading my mind. My brother is selling me a 302 for 200 and I found a T-18 for 250.

The swap wasnt to bad it took me a month of work to install it this means doing it right. (pulled prob 5 or 6 times) I love the ford 302 motor i would do it again in a heart beat. I wish i would have taken picture of my work

Thanks for the reply. It should be fun. Many years ago my brother had a 76 , he put a 351 in it,with 40 cepeks. Nice install bolted right to his 3 speed. Wasn't good for the stock rear though..LOL
