One piece rear main seal?

While the motor and Transmission are out, I'm going to fix the leaks. Anyone know of a company who makes or sells a one piece rear main? Or any other tips so I don't have to seal again for a while. Never trusted the 2 piece style.

I don't think I have ever seen a direct one piece replacement seal for a two piece anywhere. To do that little trick I don't see anyway you would be able to pull that off without machining the block and the main cap.

Unaware of one, but ask my little CJ maybe he knows. I know what you mean about the 2 pc. It's a leap of faith every time I do one! I don't know if there is anything worse than getting the whole mess buttoned up only to see that little drip of oil come back in a day!

I havent had to mess with mine yet, but www.bulltear.com might sell something that would work. they do a lot of custom built and machined stuff and they have a great forum too.

Tried bulltear, they make alot of stuff, but nothing for rear main. Guess i am stuck with a 2 piece.

I looked and I haven't even found someone who has machined a block and cap to do it. There is no way your going to do this without tearing the engine apart and taking the block and the rear main cap to a machine shop. It's just not possible without some milling work.
