How is the frame? With the mud and dirt it's hard to tell from the pictures.

What's going on with the floor boards? At first glance they look good. On closer inspection there appears to be something going on with a cover or crack or a thich layer of cracking bond.

Oh my, wooden blocks for body mounts? Easily replaced it things aren't too rotten.

If it runs and drives and you have the skills, $1500 isn't bad.

I would agree with HH $1500 sounds like a good deal. And welcome

Hello Ben welcome to the forum. We also have a 67 CJ5 all stock with the Dauntless Buick 225 V6 . Looks like a good price to me. I think those body mount spacers are actually some kind of white poly blocks. We also have them between the cross member and frame. Looks like a good project. I believe the original body mounts were flat rubber much like tire treads. I say go for it. Good luck. 😀

It's hard to find $1500 Jeeps. That being said, just know that the $1500 figure is going up with all the fixes needed. Time and money. It's a great beginning to a project, but it is a project. As long as you know that up front, it's a very good deal.

$1500.00 and it runs. Have you confirmed 4WD works.
If it does, BUY IT!
With it be'n a '67. You worn't have to deal with our BULL:dung:, SMOG laws.
Good luck. :notworthy:

The 4wd works, also has a new carb and exhaust system and includes the soft top. I'll go ahead and buy it then. I'm going to wait to bring it home, because it is snowing pretty hard in Utah right now. I should be able to get it back to Cali within the next few months. Thanks for all the help!

PLZ, keep us updated.

Give your Uncle a case of Sam Adams, and a bottle of Jameson for the Jeep.
Save your $1500 for repairs, and the trip back home.

Edit: Make sure you find some one of legal age to by the booze (not your Aunt).
