Right now, only one '76 CJ5. 304 with a three speed stick. Everything else is pretty much stock 'cept for a 4" suspension lift. Came to me with a back breakin' 4" suspension lift attached to a reverse shackle setup (Reversed the reverse shackle :dung: and now she rides like a Caddy!) Also posess a few 60s & 70s Mustangs and a couple of late 70's F150s 4X4s.
That is the one that I have.Bought new some time ago, source unknown.
Kaiser Jeep circ.1964. As said covers 4cyl only. Nice addition to the glove box or for display and has some interesting content. Looks and feels like the real thing. FWIW. mike

Thanks- I'll have to work with it- It seems like it isn't moving anything.
I assume back is out- front is engaed ?
I appreciate the response and no ridicule.....
You might have an Overdrive lever. Not sure where that little jewel would be. Some D-18's have two sticks for 2wd-4wd-4wd low and others had two, one stick for sticking it in 4wd and the other for Hi-Lo range. If you have an over drive the would be another stick for splitting gears. There, clear as can be right.
That is what I'm thinking. There is the regular gears- the next on the right is the 2h-4h, etc, then to the right of that is a small lever not labeled.
forward would be ingaged, back disengaged ( or vice-versa) ?
Just called the shop that is working on the brakes- the guy told me that the lever controls a line that is going into the Transfer Case - probably either a low lock or pto- he will investigate once the brakes get done.
The Over Drive unit is powered off the PTO portrtion of the Transfer Case . For you I hope you've got Over Drive gears in there. VERY COOL if you do. If not I'd be absolutely driven to get a set of gears and install the over drive.
Hmmmmm my last post doesn't make any sence. 2 sticks are probably 2wd-4wd the other goes Hii-Lo range. You can't go 2wd low, it's locked out. One stick 4wd high - 2wd high - 4wd low. There might be an extra stick for Over Drive. .... Hope that makes more sence, maybe not.
