2 questions:

1. When installing the orange/black wires on the dash lamps, does it matter which goes where? I'm assuming not.

2. The Painless harness has pre-terminated leads for the lights on the voltmeter and oil pressure gauge... but they're the same type of fittings that go into the speedo assembly, while the oil/volt gauges have pre-installed bulbs with prong-type leads - what's the deal with that, and can i make the painless connectors work with the gauges?

I mean, I guess I could just snip off the connector on the harness and attach the wires to the prongs, but...y'know

Another one: the harness seems to be made for the 3-wire windshield wiper motor and wiper switch. Can I adapt this to the 4-wire wiper motor and switch?

Since Most of us do not have a painless harnes or especially your particular one at our disposal, it is almost impossible to answer your questions. Have you tried the painless forums? They are really good at answering questions regarding their kits.

ended up just snipping off the pre-terminated ends and just attaching the wires to the bulbs that were already installed in the oil/volt gauges. as for the wiper switch - used the old one, attached what came with the harness where it looked like it should go :)
