but will it stick to a painted surfaces? i would use por15 as a primer pretty much right?

i just read the directions and i'd have to strip the jeep down to bare metal to do this. F THAT! :D

I would go and look at a can to see if it can be thinned and sprayed. it is such a huge PITA to roll then wet sand. I bought some farm implement paint for my CJ project and was able to reduce it with naptha and add some hardner to it and sprayed it.. came out reallY good. I bought a $20 paint gun from harbor freight and a water seperator for $10. I used spray cans of buildable gray primer, put down 3 coats of it then wet sanded it to get it smooth. 3 coats of black and it was looking good

CAN I PAINT OVER POR-15 WITH OTHER PAINTS? Absolutely, POR-15 will accept all paints including lacquer-based paints. Either POR-15 Self -Etching Primer or Tie-coat Primer are the best primers

Keep reading the instructions. . .

There's always spray cans.
