Got it right off. Credit goes to me daughter, her math class has (pie) day on 3/14… the kids bring in eats and only rule is that it has to be round. otherwise I would have the deer in the headlight look

Buteo

I shot this buteo in front of my house. I think it's a Red Tailed Hawk but the white chest and underside has me confused. It doesn't match my bird book.

On the other hand it does look like this hawk I shot a year ago and labeled Red Tail Hawk.

Edit: After doing some checking I'm sure this is a Red Tail Hawk Light Phase. I always find hawks hard to identify. There's lots of variations and they change as they age.

Awsome shots, we have a hawk that lives midpoint of our driveway. Not sure what kind and never have been able to get a picture. An amazing bird , really rare round these parts. We have a few woodpeckers but lots of barred owls.
