Please identify this early Cj

Dear fellow CJ forumites - earlier today I introduced myself as a new member and also posted some photo's of a CJ that I bought recently. I will repost the photo's and will appreciate some help with the identification of the model. I tried to find some engine and chassis registration but had no such luck.

According to the person who sold it to me it is a 1941 model. He bought it many years ago without registration papers so I can not say for sure whether he is correct or not. We also tried in vain to find an engine or chassis number or plate on the Jeep. I believe it to be between a 1941 and 1945 model - gross assumption though.
