Possible Trans swap for a 67 CJ

if i post something wrong i'm sorry but i'm new to forums.

i have a 67 CJ with 225 Dauntless Buick 225 V6 V6. it is an early 67 so it has a T-86 Transmission . i'm told they quickly switched to a T-14 due to so many issues with the T-86 .

i'd like to swap to a T-14 . does anyone know how hard it is? Do they use the same Transfer Case ? are the holes in the floor the same? clutch linkage? drive shaft length?

The T-14 isn't any better than the T-86 . They are both fairly weak transmissions. Here's more info:
