Power steering gear box 3/4" input shaft

Ok. I recently bought the Crown HD steering shaft. I went to install it over the weekend only to find that it is too large for the input shaft on my power steering box. From what I understand, the input on a manual box is smaller than the shaft on a power box. Everything looks to be original and when I removed it it was as stubborn and rusty as an original might be. Any ideas here?

Yes the PS is larger. No sure what your coupler looks like. A photo would help. But take a look at Universal Joints - Rag Joint Flexible Couplings - Double Universal Joints - Forged Universal Joints
