Anyone ever try the powerjection throttle body. Just wondering with it having an integrated ems. How nice and convenient it could be.

Looking at it online it appears to be a high performance type system not really designed for a CJ engine unless you want to make a hot rod out of it. I would recommend the more popular Howell or Chrysler units that have a pretty dependable reputation.

Wiring is a big factor, these fuel injection kits come with fairly easy wiring instructions that must be followed exactly. A fuel return line is a good thing though using either pre-bent or make your own from a parts store. It will keep the fuel cool by constantly running.

My problem mine is converted. But all the wiring is screwed up . Me never having rewired one is gonna be a learning curve. I'm up to it just trying to figure out where to begin.

One of those, I need a new wiring harness as is for the jeep and now trying to integrate the fuel injection too.
And how to figure out what conversion kit was used.

So you are saying you have this powerjection f.i. on your CJ and they both have wiring problems?

Wire harness upgrades are very expensive for what you get. Take a look at this thread, BASIC WIRING 101, Getting You Started! - JeepForum.com You can also search this forum for other helpful threads. Get a good wiring diagram. FSM have them, also you can find them on the net - PROSPERO'S GARAGE Presents:* 11" x 17", Laminated, Full Original Color Wiring Diagrams for Motorcycles & Vintage Sports Cars! - as an example. Make sure you have the basic tools that are needed, and then repair your harness. There are others on here with good advice and experience when it comes to FI wiring. You'll save a ton of money doing it yourself, and you'll have the added benefit of knowing how you Jeep is wired inside and out. If you attempt this make sure you do small parts at one time. That way you are not over whelmed and you won't get lost. Step by step, one part at a time. You'll be ok, and then you can tell other people about your experiences to help them out.
