A friend I work with wants a CJ real bad too. I've been helping him search for the "right" one now for going on four months. He's been as far as Long Island and almost to Maine in his quest for a CJ. But he hasn't found one that isn't A. overpriced, or B. a pile of
that the owner wants to offload.
Don't jump on the first one you find. Be very, very selective, it is a buyers market out there right now. Go over them with a fine toothed comb, and be picky. You'll find the right one for you, it just might take a little time.
IMHO, the white one is WAY, WAY, WAY overpriced. The green one isn't too bad, but go over it carefully, and if it looks in good shape, offer him what you feel it's worth (I wouldn't go more than 5K). If the owner is serious about selling it, they'll come down, if not, you'll find another one.
