my wife went to work after the snow storm and guess what. she put my car in the ditch  got the neighbors to watch the kids, went out she fired right up and off i went to get her, the car, or both. luckly it was both. went down in the ditch hooked her up and after about 5 minutes had her out. real happy with what this thing can do with just about stock everything and crappy old tires :D

Dale, just remember that jeep made it's reputation in a stock vehicle getting guys and equipment into and then swiftly out of trouble during a war. with a 60 HP engine it was considered the most important weapon of WWII. what they can do stock is really good, with a few mods they rock.

she thought i was going to get stuck to lol.

just got back from towing the frame for the TJ 6 project home, on the way home we passed an area that usually floods out. Sure enough I saw a stuck mini truck so I unhitched the rolling chassis and turned around, made the guy walk through 2 and a half fet of water to put my winch line to his bumper, of course I had to supply a receiver hitch with a clevis on it. Anyway had him almost out when a mini van tried to go through. Idiot tried what he saw mw winching someone out of. So I unhitched the mini truck and took off with the mini van guy just starring at me. I figure his stupidity was even more than I could handle

bahahahaha way to be an @$$hole that is awesome, stupid people deserve what they get sometimes:laugh: i'd have done the same thing

you know, If he had not seen me in the act of pulling the other guy out, he could have turned left and added going around 1 block to his trip and been safe. The first guy did not know how deep it was, the guy in the mini van knew it was to deep to get through.
I know now how come we need some of these STUPID laws they come up with. There are guys out there that need protection from their own stupidity.

had to do it again today by friends battery died in his xj so he took his sisters car to work. he tried to go in the alley and got stuck. off i went to get him. now im waiting for my 31 year old clutch  to go out with all this pulling people out.

Spent an evening pulling folks out last snow we had.
I was pulling a car out of a snow drift and an <-BAD WORD-> went flying by,
ZIP in the ditch. I unhooked the car the guy thanked me and I
waved at the idiot as I drove by.

Unfortunately I left my Idiot fishing license at home. I figure he
was probably to small and I woulda had to throw him back anyway.

Be thankful that the guy thanked you the last gut I pulled out of a ditch didn't even give me that courtesy he just drove off after I unhooked him

you would think people would be thankful and not a$$es. at lease both people i pulled out where thankful. mostly my wife lol. i did get a surprize for that one.

I don't mind helping people out. Last snow storm I suited up, double checked my recovery gear and went out to help people as it was getting dark and help is far on alot of roads. Everyone was greatful. The next afternoon I did the same thing, but I admit I did leave a couple idiots in the ditch. If I'm pulling cars and trucks from aditches and snow banks and you blow by me doing 55 on an icy road and end up in a ditch, sorry but I'm not wasting my time, unless your alone and it's getting dark, then I'll eat it and help.

I figure an idiot gets what they deserve, especially when they blow by people and don't offer to help, then it's me pulling them from a ditch.

You lnow Brock, I went out of my way to help the first guy, I was towing a rolling chassis home, and had to unhook it, turn around and help someone in need. I had never seen him before, all I saw was someone who was in trouble
Any one could have gotten in his position, but the second guy saw him being recovered when he tried.
