No worries - I can view it thru the website, but for some strange reason when I open the thread in Tapatalk it loads about halfway thru, then just says screw it, I’m out and closes the apP LOL

Meh.. “winning” is being the best of the bunch...JK wins hands down in all aspects. At the mall or in Rockies the JK is “winning”

Right, the truth is frustrating... but I can’t lie to myself, $3500 in the jk or241, 2.5 aev, 4.88, gussets and sleeved with 35s and she’s king sh**,( most of the cost is in the tires) cross country wheeled like a red headed step child and back home.. I love my 7, 3a’s, 2a.. but they can’t pull my 1100#off road trailer at 75mph ( safely)then Do work all day.
I joined this page many years ago and Iv learned a lot, mostly from aaron..’Jeep hammer’ and his many posts throughout the Jeep online community. It’s sad the junkyardGenius site can no longer be uploaded. That said, most here won’t recognize the reference. Or gain the knowledge he so freely gave away.. bet ya can’t water proof you drive train, comprehend the importance of environmental protection or stealthy conceal your HEI without forking over cash for a knock of dui ignition.. or pass on an MSD without realizing a cheaper option is available with basically the same internals.
I drop in periodically It’s sad to see haters post trash talking against something they’ve never built and wheeled.. or even owned.
The nuts and bolts of it tell the tail, CJ7 –5-6-8 all are less then comparable to any TJ or JK. I can say this having owned and actually Wheeled them all..
I’ll Likely be “banned” for this but that just goes to show who runs this site.. posers gunna pose.. I’m out..

I've worked on and wheeled more Jeep's than I care to count. I don't dog a Jeep just because of its model I mostly pick on the idiot behind the wheel. Yes the JK has it's pit falls as do most vehicles in fact the biggest is the early JK's with the anemic 3.8. as stated above I find alot of the JK and owners to be snobbish and own the Jeep just because it's the "In thing". As for real jeepers I don't care what model they drive they have a certain air about them that says hey I love my Jeep and ur's is cool too let's chat wave wheel etc etc etc.

That's not even all of them there are currently 10 Jeep's in my driveway. (No not all mine I work on them) (only 4 are mine) as the the firebird it's one of 3 in my driveway it's a 74 formula 455. More on that later though

LOL LOL. See if you can find one member here that believes a 40 year old CJ will out perform a new Jeep....... Other than physical size, CJ would have a tough time all things considered.

You’ll not be banned - but slamming CJ like that will get the door held open for ya. Jeepforum would probly be a better fit for you anyway..... similar attitudes.

To be honest you sound like someone who doesn't truly love your CJ. You need to love your CJ to be blind to all the glaring problems with owning one. Better to sell it to someone who can irrationally appreciate it.

Lol, i own a 52-3a,53-3a,48-2a,76-7(sold). all running and registered.. So I’d say you don’t know me or how addicted to saving vintage tin I am. Nor do you understand my irrational behavior when it comes to buying them, an mb and gpw are next, I will have both bought and restored in the next two years.. unless I get my grubby hands and a FC AMC 150 first lol then three years.
5,6,7,8s are cool Iv just moved on.
