nope it don't baja, io you are close its a stepper motor from a carter bbd, it would normally have two mixture needles on the end of it

Looks like a early hub lockout.

you got it thorwon its a dualmatic locking hub from a dana25. i'm not real knowledgeable in old jeeps i just remebered seeing it in jp mag from there jeeprod build i thought it was pretty cool
