I have the vent visors on my truck, and the tape has come off in a couple places, allowing them to flap in the wind. Does anyone have a way to get the tape off without destroying the paint or the plastic?

Hit it with a hair drier or heat gun on low, then use dental floss to basically saw it off, between the paint and vent guards. The heat softens the glue and waxed dental floss easily slides under and won't damage the paint.
Once it's off you can remove the rest/residue with goo gone.
If you wax lay down some in that and the surrounding area as the process will remove the wax.

I have it down now where it is basically just the glue that i have to worry about, I was just worried the Goo Gone would damage the paint.

I used a razor to get the bulk of it off, seemed to work pretty well. I pretty much can just peel the 3m off of the truck, i guess it didn't adhere that well.
