Resurrecting a Junk Yard Dash

I started with a $30 ebay junk yard dash. It was in pretty rough shape. Lots of cracks and some rusting on the back.
Ground down to the steel and repainted the back.

Cut all the loose vinyl away and added in some expanding foam insulation. Cut it flat and repeated where needed.
Then I sanded it smooth and did three layers of bondo.


It's smoother in person than it looks in photos. Now I plan to use bed liner to finish it up and get an even finish for the new dash. All total, I have spent $60, if I include the sander and bondo I bought.
Will post pics when I finish it up and get it installed, hopefully tomorrow.
