Retro Sound CJ Bluetooth Head Unit

Does anybody know where to find a great deal on these models?

Crutch field, sonic electronics, Wal-Mart, target, advanced, O'Reilly, auto zone, pep boys, eBay, Amazon, guess market, craigslist, street peddlers, other people's cars, am I missing any places ?

if you are only looking for bluetooth type services, I was considering a bluetooth enabled amplifier. Found some reasonable <$100 at typical online places like amazon but not sure how they held up.

The amp could be hidden from thieves behind the dash and the volume controlled through your phone/bluetooth device. On your phone you can use downloaded music, iHeart radio or something like pandora.

I believe the OP meant he wanted to find a deal on a specific radio made by retrosound, not necessarily any bluetooth equiped radio

Kind of hard to find deals on Retrosound radios. I bought my Zuma Model for my CJ7 direct from the company. It probably lasted 1.5 years before not working. I actually just shipped it back to the company two days ago. I had the instal shop check it out and it simply just doesn't work anymore. Too bad. It is a very cool radio. If I do it again, or if they don't fix it, I will get a radio with more features, and probably save money, and put it in a tuffy lock box. That will keep it away from the elements. :chug:

Just saw this...

^ HA! So true.

Please excuse me for my ignorance, but exactly what is 'Retro" sound?

Just the other day I think I did experience a sort of retro sound in my CJ. 450 miles and all I heard was wind and the rumble of the CJ's V8. There was some squawking I couldn't hear above the sweet CJ music from my GPS giving directions. I did get a couple calls, but since I'm not the president and world events don't depend on my ability to constantly communicate the calls meant nothing to me. Essentially I was alone in my jeep, nobody cared about me and I didn't care about them, life was good.

Retrosound is the name of the company. These old radios with new technology. You can keep the stock factory radios looks with modern features.

Well, that's kinda cool.

I didn't know they existed until I saw this thread. They do look cool but $$$$$$.
