Help Reverse lights question

Jump the switch, no lights. 6.8v coming in from red wire, sent 12v from battery to white wire with black tracer. No lights. Where would you start? 85 cj7 4 speed manual

Traced the wire to plug on the main loom, cleaned it got 12v and lights
