I have no idea what we have on our hands here! Picked up this 84 CJ7 as a grandfather/father/sons project. So far we have stripped out the seats and carpet, etc, dropped rusted exhaust, did some surface engine cleaning, and installed a smitty tow bar.

All we know is the flywheel teeth are messed up, hasn't run in a at least 3 years, PO put a new starter on it. It's got some rust and paint issues we'll also be tackling. It looks to have a 3"? lift and shod with 31 BFG All-Terrains which the fronts are rotted.

Today we start with the clutch/flywheel. I'll try to update with pictures as we go.

bear with me as i get used to this forum's gallery function!!
