rotary latches

I am new to the site and just bought my first cjs. I've built 2 xjs in the past but never touched a cj. I bought an 82 it came with the original hard top but no doors. How do I know aether or not to get doors with rotary latches or just regular doors. Any help would be awesome thanks

82 is supposed to have the paddle handles confirm by looking and see if you still have these on the body

You can do either as long as you get the striker plates to go with them

gert's right, 1982 came with the paddle style doors. Good info in this tech article I wrote http://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/f99/cj7-cj8-factory-steel-doors-3926/. The good thing about the paddle doors is that you can use YJ doors as well, they're all the same.
