Running windshield washer line, do I have to take apart the dash?

I'm trying to see if there is an easier way to run the line to the spray head. I know I have to access it from the inside, but looking underneath the A/C and all the wiring I see the ducting for the heat. Do I have to remove the dashpad, or the entire dash to get to it?

Mine just runs across the front of the firewall and goes to sprayers in the cowl vent. I guess yours must be fancier than mine.

Mine runs into the cab from a grommet in the firewall. The sprayer in not accessible from the cowl pocket.

can you see the nipple on the spray head? I am thinking about one of the long hemostats from HF.

Pulling the dash bolts and pulling the dash back, even a couple of inches can be a big help. And it is not nearly as much work as it appears. The hard part is dealing with the torx bolts.

I just fixed mine and the best way is to drop the dash it takes a little time looks worse than it is

washers on a jeep are greatly over rated. They really can't compete with that much dirt.

I have laid on the floor and was able to reach under the dash and plug it in but I don't have air and it was a bitch.
