Got a holley 2 barrel for $8 at a garage sale out with the wife. Has anyone ran one of these on their inline 6 or should I keep my mc2100 on it. Either way I can rebuild it and make money.

Well I already took it apart. Size 52 jets. Looks like when I go back to work I'll be ordering some size 47 jets and a rebuild kit.

Now I got to figure out if it's a 350 or 500 cfm carb

Well got it rebuilt. Put it on runs fine for 10 seconds and puked gas up thru the vent tube. Not sure what to do now. Any ideas?????

Nevermind adjusted the float better and running fine now

For a Jeep, I would use a 2100 or 2150 over a Holley any day. My 2150 makes a Holley TA look like :dung: off road.

I have a 2100 but I wanted to try the Holley nothin else if I don't like it I can sell it for way more than $8 and put my 2100 back on

If it's a 500 cfm, you could make enough to justify your time and effort. IH people love them for some reason. If it's a 350 cfm, you might make your money back.

I just don't know how to tell if it's a 350 or a 500

That carb translates to a ford PN B7T-9510-A. In short, it's from a 1957 Ford truck with a 272 ci engine. It's 350 cfm, or smaller. You might try contacting Holley to be sure.

Wouldnt a 350cfm be good for a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l CID

Man got all the cables hooked up today hopped in and as soon as I hit the pedal the throttle cable pops off the ball stud. I don't get it it's a new cable and I tried a few different ball stud with the same thing happening

Got the cable to stay on today. Man she fired up quick. Waiting to take her for a test drive.
