I have a Dana 44 axle that I want to put under my CJ7 . The differential has a broken bolt in one of the holes. Then the PO tried to get it out with a bolt extractor and broke the extractor. Any suggestions on getting this removed and the hole retapped?

Really would help to know exactly what bolt, you are talking about.;)

If it's a top cover bolt, I wouldn't worry much.........
Might have to take it to a machine shop, and have them mill the hole clear and then use a thread insert.
