Members CJs Searching for family CJ-7 Laredo

This is a long shot but I am searching for my deceased fathers CJ7 Laredo . I don't have any exact years for model or when it was sold just general time frames. I believe it was a late model Laredo and he it sold in the early to mid 1990's in Rockford, Illinois sold by Robert Scott Heidel (my father). I have great memories in this Jeep and would like to track it down for nostalgia, the possibility of finding one like it to buy, orthe largest improbability ever, which would be to repurchase the exact one.

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but without a vin code it will basically impossible to locate the exact Jeep. Id say start looking for a similar one

Yeah, I assumed as much. I've submitted records requests to the Illinois Secretary of State for registration records but figured I'd also post here.
