Turbogus…Tell me more about this. Did you have to replace the steering box and the whole nine yards? Or did you attach the steering column to the original steering box? My old girl is original with the Hurricane motor, so going power steering is not an option.

Since it was a matter of a few inches I kept the steering gear box (had to replace it later for leaking at the seal) it only took about a day after cursing and cussing getting my broad shoulders through the CJ5 step through.
