Thank you all for the great feedback, some additional info, initial problem motor ran like a carb issue,96000 miles, all stock…ran great, driven hard…went through the carb, same problem, started up ,idled fine ,took off ,missed ,lack of power, acted like a timing issue, adjusted points, retimed…same issue.oil pressure good, comp avg…comp ok ..around 95 each cyl…pulled valve covers , found the bent push rods cyl #5 ,replaced push rods rotated motor by hand for valve function, all seemed well…did not pull heads… replaced timing gear set…primed oil pump, dropped in dist, timed again, exact same issue…fired up ,idled fine, hesitates when gassed,no power…next cam and lifters?the issue doesn’t seem major…normal carb or timing symptoms I thought…why I am reaching out…thanks again

That compression number seems low. You had some good advice in the other thread. See if you can get your hands on a leakdown tester. Sounds like the cam timing skipped and valves hit pistons. I'd bet you'll find several valves slightly bent and no longer sealing well. The leakdown will help you confirm.
