how deep do you plan on going? carbs dont really handle water even with a snorkle, there more for FI systems...to my Limited knowledge any way i thought about it i have a "ram air" system i was thinking about cutting a notch on the passenger hood close to where the fender body hood all meet. but i realize if i got in deep to the carb...i'm toast anyway!!!! keep it at the top of the tires and slow speeds you'll be fine, but they do look cool.
if you bought a kit im sure can find bits and peices to make a snorkle fit. 
i dont nkow that you would be getting the functions of a true snorkle but maybe...... good luck.

We build them all the time - a quick trip to Ace and a sprayer dealer and you will find what you need. I can go over the windshield with no issues.
