The seats for my Limited have a few stains that need removed. The driver side has a broken frame so Im going to be removing the skins either way. Have any of you come across a good stain remover to use? I can throw them in a washer after treatment as well.

Ive used 1/2+ cup of non flamable Citrus type cleaner in a wash cycle with warm water for greasy coveralls etc, worked real well. Small grease spotting Ive used a spray product called Hotshot or Hotspot, cant recall. Places like Kmart or Wallace Martell carry it, comes in a orange and blue small aerosol can.

What ever you do to it before putting in the wash machine, make sure it doesn't dry out before washing. Stains that set and dry after an attempt to remove will not get any better in a wash cycle if the dry. Also one you got all that done, use some scotch guard on them. Gray is the worst color for staining! Rod

I've had good luck over the years with what used to be called Armor All multi purpose cleaner. I think it is now called "detailer". Not sure if it's the same or formula or not, but the old multi purpose cleaner was great on carpet and seats.
