Stupid ball joints

here are some pics of my upper ball joint that will not come out i tried a ball joint press and as you can see i beat the out of it with a sledge and still it wont budge any help appreciated. also i dont see a snap ring. Please help

My idea now is press the other way. Honestly I hate ball joints bad though. P.I.T.A.
