85 CJ7 4.2l, T5, Dana 300, Dana 30 front, AMC20 rear. 4.56 gears
I used a T-4 for over 35 years with no problems w/4 cylinder. Not a popular Transmission in Jeeps though
 
That’s the part that drops down into the Transmission . There is a see we care section under the boot, but it all appears to be a single piece.
 
Yes. At the Transmission side there is a rubber piece and a spring cage over that. Probably isolation/vibration thingy
 
I can’t find any pieces other than the bushing and rubber boot. The plastic pieces, weird springs, etc are nowhere to be found. It looks like B&M and Hurst used to make a shifter, but nobody bought it. It looks like I’ll order a new bushing, clean it up, derust what I can, and hope grease can take up some slack.
