I'm replacing my OEM taillight with a replacement part from Rugged Ridge. The connector isn't the same as my wiring harness, but the three wires seem to match up fine. Running light and back up light work fine, but I can't get the brake light or turn signal light to work. Either I'm doing something wrong or I have a defective part. Any ideas on how to confirm would be appreciated.

If the connector is different that could be the problem. Is the connector from you old light still good? Maybe you can cut the connector off and splice in the old so everything matches up. Or cut all connectors out and splice in direct. Did you try a jumper wire from power to the different pins to see if you get brake light? Brake and turn signals use the same side of the bulb. Did you check the bulb? Even new ones can be bad. Also check with a test light to see if you have power to the pins in the socket. I have seen them bad, new.
